Atia's Project Ladybug Fund

Project Ladybug is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Dina Manzo, former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star and upcoming host of "Dina's Party" airing on HGTV this fall. Though established in New Jersey, Dina brought the charity to Chicago after meeting 3 year old Atia Lutarewych. Atia's strength and spirit moved Dina so much that the fund was launched at Comer Children's Hospital in Atia's name in hopes of helping other children fight cancer with the same spirit Atia does.

Our mission is to ease the struggles of childhood cancer by providing financial and emotional support to patients and their families.

Project Ladybug hopes to lift the spirits and improve the quality of life for children and their families during treatment. We believe that a positive experience can lead to a better overall outcome for these young patients.

Atia's Project Ladybug Fund is Chicago's chapter and is affiliated with Comer Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago.

Atia's Celebration of Life Party

Step into the magical land of candy and fun at Atia's Celebration of Life Party. This kid-focused fundraiser will sweep your family away into an afternoon of playful bliss - a fantasy complete with a life-size Candy Land adventure, children's entertainers, games, activities, prizes and much more!

In April 2009, Atia - the namesake of Chicago's Project Ladybug Fund - was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) at the age of 17 months old. In July 2011, she will complete her aggressive two-year daily chemotherapy treatment regimen. In honor of this monumental milestone, Atia's Project Ladybug Fund is celebrating Atia's life and the lives of all children.

Come help us celebrate and raise money so that other families have a chance to celebrate their children's lives!

All money raised will directly benefit the pediatric cancer patients and their families at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital.
